63% OF OUR PEOPLE SHUN BOTH POLITICAL PARTIES!! ANDREW HOLNESS RETURN AS PRIME MINISTER WITH 20% OF COVID 19 VOTERS.

Mr. Andrew Holness was returned as Prime Minister of Jamaica after garnering 20% of a total of 37%  voters participation. Mr. Holness with cash in hand and after placing key loyal personnel in important positions decimated the once-powerful machinery of the Peoples National Party. Mr. Holness had the covert blessing of the United States with Donald Trump and the powerful Private Sector Organization of Jamaica. With 49 seats in Parliament, the danger lies with a potential budding dictatorial behavior by the Holness Government.

The election called by the Prime Minister was a calculated move that placed the lives of our people at risk during this pandemic, it should never have taken place!! The election was infested with corruption, money was spent heavily to buy votes and played a role in his victory for the rich and wealthy in Jamaica. Mr. Holness was somewhat subdued in his speech cognizant that he will not be able to satisfy the demand of an impoverished majority with the imperial IMF monitoring his moves, the private sector will continue the demand for more pound of flesh.

The PNP garnered only  14 seats with Peter Phillip securing his seat. Peter Bunting, the contestant against Peter Phillip lost his seat to a newcomer to the political scene, a shocking result, most veterans of the party lost their seat!!  The PNP has lost its sole purpose of existence with the destruction of its founding principles initiated by the late Michael Manley!! This destruction of its moral compass was initiated by the most conservative member of the NEC, Percival Patterson. The goodwill of the PNP was extinguished at the poll, a result of factionalism, careerism, opportunism, nepotism, and abandonment of its philosophy!!!  The comrades became the tool for the enrichment of themselves and their allies in the Private Sector and under the Patterson regime privatize our national assets. The Portia/Phillip regime implemented harsher economic conditions with strict observance of the IMF apartheid economic policy that saw further impoverishment of our people, our people remember those times, the PNP ignored their pain. Our people will be vigilant to protect their sovereignty and to preserve the hard-won worker's rights. Interesting times ahead, our movement will be watching, informing, putting out proposals for the benefit of the poor and workers, and to defend our sovereignty.
