ECONOMIC AND CULTURAL CONSEQUENCES OF IMPERIAL CYNICISM.

ECONOMIC AND CULTURAL CONSEQUENCES OF IMPERIAL CYNICISM.

Some are sorry only for the "economic damage" caused by the blockade, but it is insufficient to understand and denounce the ravages in the fields of health, education, housing, work,

and culture. The blockade is part of the imperial psychological war against all rebellion.

According to the UN, crimes against humanity constitute widespread or systematic attacks on the civilian population. "Crimes against humanity" are exterminations, slavery, deportation or forced expulsion, deprivation of physical and intellectual freedom that violates International Law. "Crimes against humanity" are torture, rape, prostitution and sexual violence, the persecution of a group (including its "media lynching") for political, racial, national, ethnic, cultural, religious, or gender reasons; the forced disappearance of people, apartheid and other acts that threaten the integrity of people and social groups. For example, the blockade, even if they call it an "embargo." Before the "purists" of legal classifications raise hopes of rehearsing scholastic eloquence, know that they will not take place here. Anything that threatens the life, liberty, rights, and dignity of people is a crime against humanity ... and blockades are one of the most treacherous, illegal, and illegitimate wars of capitalism, even if they contract or invent ideologies, international treaties, and legislation to camouflage themselves.

But fighting the blockade is not just a "legal" matter; the dozens of international repudiation at the UN and the angry proclamations of the most indignant voices have been of little use. The battle against the blockade is an all-out political struggle that does not stop at the gates of the bureaucracies and that involves a tenacious and radical battle against capitalism, its mode of production, and its relations of production. Undoubtedly, capitalism, in its development, after World War II, produced equal or worse horrors against the human species. It produced all kinds of usurpations, invasions, and thefts. All kinds of deception, manipulation, and humiliation. Destruction of the planet, countries, and cultures. Vulgarity, individualism, and racism. Misery, poverty, and helplessness. Kidnappings, usurpations, and blockades. Impossible to make up so many horrors! The consequences get worse and behave like a pandemic. There is no future for humanity under such a system. And to punish those who refuse to applaud its horrors, the empire imposes sanctions, "embargoes," and blockades. All together or separately, they are not the same. They are forms of a ruthless war against the peoples and against humanity. For example, the blockade against Cuba is the longest known in modern history. Although he has been convicted countless times, nothing happens; The same is happening against Venezuela and against anyone who tries to develop ties of any kind with both countries.
