The pandemic reveals the inadequacy of our healthcare system and the flooding reveal the corruption in our planning and construction departments. It is the privatization of our institutions that give preference to violations of permits rule if the money is right. The objections and overrule of assessments by expert analysts by our Prime Minister are cause for serious concern!! It shows that our government is above the rules and laws that they promulgated, how can one expect our citizens to comply? The planned construction of highways, the multimillion-dollar parliament building must be scrapped!! Our people's lives and living conditions must be protected at all costs.
