Our people must be educated and informed of our decision-making process in regard to political, economic, and judicial matters. A pastor from St Ann expressed his feeling on the decision made by the Hon Andrew Holness to restrict church services in his attempt to curb the covid 19. It appears that the minister used his mastery of the scripture to lambast the prime minister and called for his biblical penalty. The minister was arrested and later released. It must be made public on whose command was he arrested? Also, was his right to freedom of expression violated? If Mr. Holness issued this order then our country is on a slippery path to a mixture of corrupt dictatorship, this would be a dangerous situation. Why is our legal system quiet? Are they afraid? Why is the media not posing these questions?
